Why should I attend IAPSC?

Sustained public awareness and concern over the effects of air pollution, the introduction of new sources of pollution and new pollutants, new responsibilities for pollution monitoring and control arising from legislation, all highlight a continuing need for up-to-date and reliable information on air pollution. This is particularly so in today's climate of public concern over environmental issues.

If you need information on air pollution, then you may wish to consider booking a place at the next IAPSC conference. This will enable your organisation to benefit from this long established source of information and practical expertise on the subject and to network with other organisations involved in this field.

What does IAPSC do?

IAPSC holds twice-yearly conferences on topical air pollution related issues. These usually take place in June and December each year. Topics and speakers are decided by the Agenda Committee. Recent topics have included:

  • Pervasive monitoring techniques
  • Local Air Quality Management and Policy
  • Clean Air Zones
  • Understanding the impacts of policies and measures
  • Low emission vehicles
  • Health implications of air pollution

Who runs IAPSC and how is it financed?

IAPSC is run by the elected Agenda Committee. Administrative services for IAPSC are provided by Ricardo Energy & Environment. IAPSC is financed by sales of places at conferences.
